Super Regional Watch Party

The sixth-ranked Ragin’ Cajuns now know who will be coming to town this weekend for the NCAA Lafayette Regional Tournament. Today, fans and players at home and at the UL Watch Party, discovered during the NCAA 2014 Selection Show that Jackson State, San Diego State, and last years College World Series runner up Mississippi State all will be making an appearance at the Tigue.

The fans may have demonstrated more excitement about the selection than the players. Cajun faithful spent their Memorial Day anxiously awaiting ESPN to unveil the tournament invitees. Fans of all ages were on hand to let their team experience a taste of the home-cooking they intend to bring to the park this weekend.

The next chance fans will have to see the Cajuns arrives Thursday at an open practice, allowing fans an opportunity to scout out all the competition. Cajuns fans look ahead to Friday morning at 10 a.m, when the general public gets its first crack at tickets to the Cajuns first regional contest at 6p.m. against Jackson State.
